The legend of the Black Knight was originally written by humans. A powerful knight that was loyal to none. His skill in battle and his dark armor made him a symbol of fear. Many copied the myth, wearing a black armor, trying to inspire fear. And it wasn't only humans who did it, other races did as well. Even the fairies.

The dreaded Black Fairy Knight wears an armor made of black mushrooms that only grow in the darkest of cave, a cape made of petals of the cursed black rose and a sword forged from the beaks of ravens. And with his Black Lance, a magnificent flying vehicle, he even ruled the skies. While the normal-sized weapons did little against larger creatures, the Black Lance allowed the Black Fairy Knight to attack creatures ten times his size by plunging down upon them! It is rumored he even killed the Terrible Tiger of the Part of the Forest East of the Somewhat Dirty Pond, although this questioned regularly. Mostly since there are no tigers in the forest.

The theme was 'weapon for the Black Knight'. I wanted to make a space ship at first (Black Hole Neo-Knight!), but couldn't find the time/motivation. So I made this instead. I'm actually glad I did. The simple shapes and simple textures work well for it. Now to hope it's actually accepted :P

In case you're wondering; the gem on the top is a Wind Gem. It generates wind that blow through the fans which then drive the 'helicopter blades', two of them spinning clockwise and the other counterclockwise to stop the ship from spinning out of control. Yes, I made some weird, fantasy-ish, magic driven helicopter, yet still thought about counterspin. I'm weird like that.

Pretty swank, if I have to say so myself, Wolf.

And Lot's wife, of course, was told not to look back where all those people and their homes had been. But she did look back, and I love her for that, because it was so human. So she was turned to a pillar of salt. So it goes.
